AI research leader Anthropic has entered into a major multi-year strategic partnership with global consulting firm Accenture, marking another significant move in Anthropic’s rapid expansion across the enterprise landscape. While financial details have not been disclosed, reports confirm the agreement spans three years, further solidifying Anthropic’s role as a fast-rising force in artificial intelligence solutions designed for business use.

The partnership will establish a new dedicated unit called the Accenture Anthropic Business Group, created to help enterprises adopt AI responsibly, efficiently, and at scale. As part of the initiative, 30,000 Accenture employees will receive formal Claude training, enhancing Accenture’s internal capabilities and strengthening deployment expertise for clients exploring Anthropic’s AI systems.

Additionally, Claude Code, Anthropic’s AI-powered coding assistant, will be made available to tens of thousands of Accenture developers. The tool is designed to boost software productivity, streamline complex development workflows, and improve automation across enterprise environments. The companies also announced a joint program for chief investment officers to help track AI return on investment, signaling a push toward measurable business value and financial transparency in AI implementation.

This partnership comes at a time when Anthropic’s influence in the enterprise space is rising sharply. According to new data from Menlo Ventures, Anthropic now holds 40% of enterprise AI market share and dominates 54% of the coding AI market, a notable increase from its earlier position of 32% earlier in the year. The momentum reflects rapid enterprise adoption of Anthropic’s Claude family of AI models, known for safety-focused alignment and strong reasoning ability.

The agreement follows a series of high-profile enterprise deals. Last week, Anthropic announced a $200 million partnership with Snowflake, and earlier this year, the company revealed similar large-scale collaborations with IBM and Deloitte. These deals demonstrate an accelerating shift among global enterprises toward Claude-powered AI systems for productivity, automation, and digital transformation.

The new partnership with Accenture represents a significant milestone in the AI industry’s competitive landscape, particularly as companies seek safer and more scalable AI solutions. With this collaboration, Anthropic is strengthening its position as a trusted enterprise provider, while Accenture expands its AI consulting capabilities to meet growing global demand.
