Apple has now officially announced its latest affordable smartphone, the iPhone 17e, which starts at a price of $599. The new smartphone will go on sale starting March 11. Apple’s iPhone 17e provides users with premium features at a more affordable price.

The iPhone 17e features Apple’s A19 chip, the same chip used in the standard iPhone 17. It provides users with a smooth experience. Apple’s iPhone 17e also supports Apple Intelligence. It provides users with the best features of Apple’s budget lineup. It starts at 256GB of storage, which is double the base storage of the previous generation.

The biggest update to the iPhone 17e is the return of MagSafe, which supports wireless charging speeds of up to 15W using the new Qi2 wireless charging standard. It is also available in black, white, and a new soft pink finish.

Apple’s iPhone 17e now supports the company’s new C1X cellular modem, which provides users with speeds that are at least twice as fast as the modem used in the iPhone 16e. It also consumes 30% less power.

In the camera section, the iPhone 17e has a 48-megapixel rear-facing camera, which is the same as the previous model. The Fusion camera allows for 2x optical-quality zoom. This means the iPhone 17e has two cameras in one. The iPhone can record 4K Dolby Vision video at 60fps, along with Spatial Audio for an immersive experience on AirPods and Apple Vision Pro.

The iPhone 17e has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, which is covered by Ceramic Shield 2. This provides improved scratch resistance. The iPhone is also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.

Apple has emphasized its commitment to the environment by announcing the iPhone 17e is made with 30% recycled materials. This includes recycled aluminum and cobalt.
